Une visite des gares de Paris

Cette conférence animée et un peu insolite vous invite à faire la connaissance de quelques gares parisiennes (actuelles et disparues) à travers l’histoire, l’art, la chanson et le cinéma. On parlera non seulement de dates et d’évènements importants, mais aussi de buffets, de Mitterrand et de Monet ! Il y aura des extraits de films et de chansons. Pour une demi-douzaine des grandes gares, Vincent vous proposera aussi des anecdotes personnelles.
Vincent will be at the centre to make his presentation and we hope many of you will be coming to the Wilfrid Noyce Centre, Oglethorpe Hall, Crown Court Car Park, Godalming GU7 1DY. As usual, the lecture will start at 7:30pm. Alternatively, if you are unable to travel on the night, you can watch the lecture on Zoom (link will be emailed to you more near the time).
Coffee and French conversation session: Friday 21st March from 10.00am
We will meet up for a coffee and a chat at the King’s Arms Hotel in Godalming High Street from 10.00am until 11:30am. You can arrive and leave at any time between 10 and 11:30. We were very happy to see many of you in February. Our chats are very informal and relaxed and we hope many of you will join us again!
