Errances avec une Tigresse – Le Front Ouest

Inspiré par le livre de l’historien britannique Anthony Seldon, « Le Chemin de la Paix », dans lequel il relate sa marche solitaire le long du Front Ouest, Phil Drabble a décidé d’entreprendre le même périple sur sa moto, une Triumph Tiger. En suivant cet itinéraire historique, il a traversé des paysages parmi les plus évocateurs et les plus beaux d’Europe, de la frontière suisse à l’Alsace, la Lorraine, la Champagne, la Somme et les Flandres, pour terminer son voyage en Belgique, sur la côte de la mer du Nord.
Phil will be at the centre to make his presentation and we hope many of you will be joining us. As usual, the lecture will start at 7:30pm. Alternatively, if you are unable to travel on the night, you can watch the lecture on Zoom (link will be emailed to you more near the time).
Coffee and French conversation session: Friday 14th November
Come and join us for a coffee and a chat at the King’s Arms Hotel in Godalming High Street from 10.00am until 11:30am. You can arrive and leave at any time between 10am and 11:30am. Our chats are very informal and relaxed and we hope many of you will join us again!
