Fete Des Rois – Non Members

For the past two years we have been unable to celebrate the Fête des Rois due to the pandemic. Your committee is pleased to announce that there will be a special celebration dinner next January and it will be held at our new venue, Guildford Rugby Pavilion. Those of you who have been able to attend meetings at the Pavilion will know that it is a very pleasant location which has plenty of space for us not to be too crowded. There is ample parking at the venue and it is within very easy reach of both Godalming and Guildford.

There is a new chef at the Pavillion who will offer French style cuisine and excellent French wines. This year we will have a choice of two starters and two main courses and the dessert will be the traditional ‘Galette des Rois’. The choice of starter will be French Onion soup or Goat’s cheese tartlet and for the main course, Coq au Vin or Saumon en croute.

We will be repeating the popular all-inclusive price for our dinner, which will include a welcoming glass of sparkling wine, a starter and main course, a choice of red, white wine or soft drink, and the traditional galette for dessert. Service charge is also included. The price will be £45 for members and £48 for guests. The welcome drink is a gift to members from Les Amitiés, so we hope that many of you will join us for this very special celebration.
