The new season of lectures in French begins on 17th September when Maryse Wright will be talking to us about “Bordeaux hier et aujourd’hui “. We are looking forward to welcoming Maryse who will be travelling from Nottingham and it will be her first lecture to our Godalming group. If you can come to the Oglethorpe Hall you will have the opportunity to speak to other members and Maryse, herself and enjoy refreshments. Otherwise if you choose to link up by Zoom you are also very welcome to participate but without the refreshments.
A new season brings changes to routine and we have had two resignations from our committee. These members have carried out excellent work over many years and now we need to find replacements. Our French group is one of the largest in the country and offers a wide variety of lectures and activities to those who love the French language.
