Découvrez l’origine des symboles et emblèmes de France les plus connus: La fleur de lys, le coq gaulois, l’abeille impériale, le drapeau tricolore, Marianne, la Marseillaise, la croix de Lorraine ainsi qu’un aperçu sur les médailles et décorations décernées par la France. Germaine Jones vous parlera également des médailles et décorations et vous en montrera des reproductions.
Exceptionally, the February lecture by Germaine Jones will be ZOOM ONLY, the Oglethorpe Hall will not be used. The Zoom URL was sent by Alan Liddle on 10 February. You can log on from 7pm and the lecture will start at 7.30pm.
Coffee and French conversation session: Friday 28th February from 10.00am
We will meet up again for a coffee and a chat at the King’s Arms Hotel in Godalming High Street from 10.00am until 11:30am. You can arrive and leave at any time between 10 and 11:30. Our chats are very informal and relaxed and we hope to see many of you!
