Pèlerins? Alpinistes? Touristes? On ne sait! Toujours est-il que beaucoup de monde se presse à Chamonix pour admirer cette force de la nature, pour la conquérir, soit avec cordes et piolets, soit par le téléphérique! Avant eux se sont succédés nombre de découvreurs impatients de découvrir le secret de cette montagne millénaire. Aujourd’hui on le respecte tout comme on doit respecter la nature et chacun y trouve sa place. Partons donc à la conquête du Mont-Blanc, ce patrimoine autant culturel que naturel!
We hope many of you will be coming to the Guildford Rugby Club for Thierry’s lecture. Thierry will be at the pavilion to make his presentation which will start at 7:30pm. Please note that the lecture will take place in a different room upstairs on the other side of the bar area. Alternatively, if you are unable to travel on the night, you can watch the lecture on Zoom (link will be emailed to you more near the time).
Coffee and conversation session: Friday 21st June at 10.00am
We will meet up again for a coffee and a chat at the King’s Arms Hotel in Godalming High Street from 10.00am until 11:30am. We hope to see many of you!

Brian John, our Treasurer will give a song recital of French Mélodies at the Baptist Church, Godalming. We hope many of you will be able to join us. Invite your friends for a lovely evening out!
